We have been looking at poems that are written to be performed or read aloud. There are some really great examples of famous poets who do this very well. We looked at Benjamin Zephaniah and Michael Rosen.
We talked about why poems are meant to be performed and the importance of rhyme in performance poetry. Wait to hear the poems we have recorded ourselves performing!
