In preparation for the launch of our school bank next Thursday, Mrs Airth was in school today to do the first session of teller training with our P7's. P7 are going to be operating the school bank every Thursday morning under the watchful eye of staff from RBS.
We are really looking forward to what is a crucial element of financial education for all children in Cedars school. Staff have opened savings accounts too and primary children are already talking of saving spending money for our York trip in March of next year.
It is also a real opportunity for P7 pupils to do something which will be of great value to them as they look to begin secondary, and possibly university, education.
